About us: 'The McDonut's' shop has been a long time in the making. The shop was originally started as a creative outlet for two sisters. Our dad owned a jewelry store for many years in a small town in Vermont and we grew up in a very creative environment as a result. As kids, our friends used to call us 'The McDonut's' because our (very Irish) last name was so difficult to pronounce and 'McDonut's' was a silly variation on our name that was a lot easier to say! The name stuck and we are still so grateful to our friends and family for their support.
Because of our background, we still like to incorporate jewelry pieces into our shop, but the majority of our products focus on event supplies and wedding decor. Having experience in floral design and event planning, our creative background is diverse and we enjoy working with customers to create the exact vision you have for your special event. Whether it is for your wedding, a birthday party, holiday gathering or just for fun - we want to help you create an event your guests are sure to remember!
A lot of love and hard work goes into our little shop and we hope to be able to share this love of all things hand-made with you!
